The Ceremony

We started with a weather check one week in advance and kept in touch with the family throughout. On the day, the weather held beautifully – soft blue skies over the Cheshire countryside. We arrived early, set up the drone, completed all safety checks, and met with the family to talk through the final steps.

There was time for reflection, a poem reading, and the playing of a meaningful song from a mobile speaker. The ashes were gently released high above the trees, scattering into the breeze while the family watched on from a quiet footpath below.
