Five things every Sales Partner should know
1
You're selling a specialist business opportunity.
Aerial Ashes is an established drone ashes-scattering business, not simply a drone or training course.
2
The franchise fee is $9,999, excluding the drone.
There is also an annual franchise/support fee of $2,999. The franchisee must purchase their own approved aircraft separately: either a DJI M600 Pro or an Aurelia X6.
3
Your commission is $2,000 per qualifying sale.
You also receive $500 for each qualifying annual franchise renewal.
4
You find, present, develop and close the prospect.
You don't need to complete the franchise agreement or collect payment yourself. Bring the prospect to Aerial Ashes when they're ready to proceed.
5
Your commission is paid when the franchisee pays their $3,000 deposit.
Once your qualifying prospect has paid their deposit and the sale is confirmed, we pay your $2,000 initial commission in accordance with your Sales Partner Agreement.
What are you actually selling?
Aerial Ashes provides specialist drone ashes-scattering ceremonies, helping families scatter the ashes of someone they love at a location that was meaningful to them.
This could be a favourite beach, lake, mountain, woodland, golf course or somewhere overlooking a much-loved football stadium.
Using specially equipped drones, ashes are released from the air, creating a beautiful and distinctive plume that gradually disperses.
The result is a memorable and dignified final farewell.
A meaningful service
We help families fulfil the final wishes of someone they love.
A distinctive experience
Our aerial ceremonies provide an alternative to traditional ashes scattering.
Specialist expertise
Our business has developed the equipment, procedures, operational knowledge and experience required to provide this specialist service.
An established business
Aerial Ashes is an operating business with real customers, completed ceremonies, awards, media coverage and customer reviews.
Why does this matter to franchisees?
Many drone operators compete for the same photography, surveying and inspection work.
Aerial Ashes offers something different: a defined specialist niche with an established business model behind it.
Don't just buy another drone.
Own a niche.
The franchise opportunity
What does the prospective franchisee receive?
Initial franchise fee
$9,999
The drone is not included.
Annual franchise / support fee
$2,999
Important: the franchisee purchases their own drone
The cost of the aircraft is additional to the $9,999 franchise fee and must be included in the prospect's total start-up budget.
Do not describe the franchise as including a drone or imply that $9,999 is the complete cost of establishing the business.
Option 1: DJI M600 Pro
A distinctive experience
What does the franchise fee cover?
The Aerial Ashes franchise provides entrepreneurs and drone operators with the opportunity to establish a specialist business using our developed brand, operating model and expertise.
Rather than developing the service independently, franchisees gain access to an established framework and ongoing support.
The franchise package
Depending on the agreed package and territory, the franchise includes:
Aerial Ashes branding
Specialist ashes-scattering equipment and associated know-how
Training
Operational procedures
Website and online presence
Marketing resources
Business systems and know-how
Territory arrangements
Ongoing support
The aircraft itself is not included and must be purchased separately by the franchisee.
The precise inclusions, equipment and territory rights are set out in the applicable franchise agreement.
Why would somebody buy an Aerial Ashes franchise?
Starting a specialist business independently requires time, investment and considerable development work.
Branding, specialist equipment development, procedures, marketing, operational knowledge and business systems all need to be established.
Aerial Ashes provides an alternative: access to an existing specialist business model and support structure.
You're not simply buying a drone. You're investing in the business model behind a specialist service.
Who should you target?
Find the right people. Your role is to identify people who could genuinely benefit from the Aerial Ashes franchise opportunity.
Focus on prospects with an interest in the business, the capacity to invest and the motivation to develop a specialist service.
Existing drone operators
Many drone operators have invested in equipment and qualifications but still face the challenge of finding profitable commercial work. Aerial Ashes provides an opportunity to explore a specialist niche rather than relying solely on general drone services.
Look for operators who:
- Want to diversify their business.
- Are struggling to differentiate themselves.
- Have commercial drone experience.
- Are looking for a specialist service.
- Have the capacity to invest in the franchise and an approved drone.
Suggested opening angle “Have you ever considered specialising in a particular drone niche rather than competing for general drone work?”
Existing drone businesses
Businesses already operating commercially may be interested in adding a specialist service to their existing activities.
They may already have relevant equipment, experience, industry contacts and established business systems.
However, they will still need an approved DJI M600 Pro or Aurelia X6 for Aerial Ashes operations.
Suggested opening angle “Would you be interested in adding a distinctive specialist service to your existing drone business?”
Entrepreneurs
Aerial Ashes may also appeal to entrepreneurs looking for an unusual owner-operated business.
Previous drone experience is not necessarily essential, provided the applicant is willing and able to meet the relevant training and operational requirements.
Suggested opening angle “Have you ever considered owning a specialist business in a relatively unusual market?”
Where to find prospects
Your prospecting guide. The most effective approach is to identify people who may already be interested in commercial drones, business ownership or specialist business opportunities.
Search for groups relating to:
- Commercial drone pilots
- Drone business owners
- Professional drone operators
- Drone entrepreneurship
- Commercial drone work
Participate in discussions and identify people who may be interested in developing their businesses. Avoid repeatedly posting unsolicited franchise advertisements.
Search for:
- Commercial Drone Pilot
- Drone Business Owner (UAV Operator)
- Drone Entrepreneur (Drone Services)
Connect with suitable people and start relevant conversations.
Search for:
- Commercial drone operator + location
- Drone services + location
- Drone photography business + location
- UAV company + location
Identify suitable businesses and approach them individually.
YouTube
Look for creators discussing commercial drone work, starting drone businesses and generating income from drones.
These audiences may contain people interested in finding a specialist niche.
Your existing network
Don't overlook people you already know.
Existing drone operators, entrepreneurs, business owners and people considering a career change may all be suitable prospects.
Remember: You don't need to persuade everybody. Find people for whom the opportunity is genuinely relevant.
Your lead magnet videos
Start conversations with content.
You don't need to begin by asking somebody to buy a franchise.
Often, the better approach is to share something relevant to their current situation.
We've created videos you can use to introduce the challenges of building a commercial drone business and the opportunity to specialise.
